Amit Burde is born & brought up in mumbai......... Since childhood he had keen interest in singing & dancing.. Parents encouraged him & helped to persue dancing as a profession against the rest who said no..........He is a well trained dancer / choreographer & has learnt under 3 great artists of india and from inter national dance icons matt steffanina & dana alexa......
He has learn't dance from shiamak davar sir in the year 1998 as a student. Then shiamak selected him for his dance company. Gave him opportunities galore to perform on stage and show off his creative streak in dancing, singing, choreography and other aspects of entertainment. In the year 1997, nearly 2 years after joining sdipa Amit was chosen to perform in dance extravaganzas, t.v. Commercial ads with urmila matondkar.
Amit knows more than 20 dance styles like jazz, afro jazz, salsa, rock n' roll, jive, can can, contemporary, waltz, polka, break, lock & pop, street jazz, funk, bachata, tutting, etc.
He has been teaching and choreographing for past 15 years
He has learned contemporary dance from terence lewis sir and hip-hop, krumping from remo d'souza sir.
Currently he has learned urban hip-hop & jazz from inter national choreographers matt & dana from la.
Amit has started his own dance company Amit Burde Dance Studio (abds) in the year 2012.
Right now he is teaching more than 1000 students.... He just loves to experiment with 2 dance forms mixed together............
He has participated in a lot of reality shows like sony boogie woogie, zee tv antakshari, sony indian idol 3, zee tv sa re ga ma pa etc.......... Also won many prizes & appreciations.........
He has recently won india lifestyle award 2015 in the category of best lyrical hip-hop dance studio in mumbai for the year 2015. The award was received from bollywood celebrity minissha lamba.
Abds is an alliance partner for "shamrao vithal coop bank (svc bank)" which has more than 190 branches across india.
Amit Burde's success story was published in bollywood town magazine of february 2016 issue.
He has choreographed for k.j.somaiya medical college annual festival "aakarshan 2016". He has done 8 back to back intercollege competitions like aavishkar college festival at kem medical college, rajiv gandhi medical college festival, d y patil medical college, nair medical college festival, etc.
Amit has trained students of france under french exchange program at st xaviers college, mumbai.
He has taken a masters class at wilson college mumbai during their college annual festival "polaris"
Amit gave a tribute to michael jackson in kolkata showcase 2010........................
He has trained the staff of gold's gym kandivali and choreographed for their annual event in mumbai. The kandivali staff has won best dance in mumbai.
Apart from dancing he loves singing, sound mixing, video remixing, etc.

Awards :
Amit won mumbai dance championship in the year 2004. His dance troupe won "the best dance award " and won the "best choreography award " out of 750 dances.........
In the year 2005 again he won "best choreography award" in maharastra. This time there were about 3500 dances..........
His dance troupe had also participated in national level dance competition. Stood 25th in india out of 5570 dances. This event was organised by disney channel.......
He got state award from hema malini ( for buds talent academic awards)
he won mumbai dance championship from govinda ( buds talent academy awards )
Also won many trophies in inter school & college dance competitions
Amit Burde has won mumbai dance championship & also won state award for " best choreography " category.
His choreography won third prize at rajiv gandhi medical college festival awarded by mr. Sushant poojari (abcd 1 & 2 fame) in february 2016.
